 5 STEPS TO SUCCESSFUL PROJECT HANDOVER

  1. THE BRIEF

One of our team members will meet with the client to establish the project parameters.  Our client can provide us with a brief for us to work on or can collaborate with our team to develop a brief that will suit the needs of the client and their workplace strategy.  At this stage we are able to provide a site feasibility analysis for clients who are looking at acquiring a new space and need to determine if the environment will meet all of their individual company needs.  Our team is skilled at assessing different work spaces and how they will affect a company’s working environment.  We like to discuss a client’s work patterns and company strategy to ensure that the project outcomes meet the goals and objectives of the company.

  1. CONCEPT DESIGN & SPACE PLANNING

Once the brief has been approved, the team will begin to work on the project.  Using the brief parameters a space plan is drawn up.  The space plan can include collaborative spaces, open plan office spaces, quiet spaces, break-out or meeting spaces.  A concept is designed that works in conjunction with the space plan.  We can develop a design that either works with a company branding, helping to establish a strong corporate identity or help to create a company brand from scratch.  We can also create a design that moves away from a company’s branding and fosters more of an environment that the company is wanting to achieve with their brief.  This can be a very fluid process with our team collaborating closely with the client.

  1. CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

This stage allows for the concept to be fully formed and detailed.  Our team commence with furniture sourcing as well as the specification of any other fittings or finishes in the space.  Each element is carefully chosen to ensure that the links are maintained with the original concept and helps provide a cohesive design.  WorknViro has a wide network of local and international suppliers.  We are able to source products country wide to meet design as well as budget parameters.  If we are working on a full design fit out our team will begin to look at requirements for resource and building consent.

  1. WORKING DRAWINGS & TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Your space is brought to life through 3D visualisations for a real sense of your new offices.  In addition, detailed technical drawings are required for custom designed furniture, resource and building consent.  We provide full, comprehensive drawings and advice on practical applications of your design for your approval for scope of works to commence with production

  1. INSTALLATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

WorknViro can fully project manage your fit out from the briefing stage through to implementation and installation.  We have a number of specialised team members that work together to ensure that your gain the benefit of over 70 years’ worth of industry experience and that the project gets handed over timeously and within budget.
